#58. Exploring loops in Logic
I had started writing a longer post but I wasn’t happy with it, so running with some shorter posts for awhile, just to share a few ideas with my audience
I think one of the star app releases for the iPad this year has been Logic Pro for iPap which has brought many of the tools normally associated with the desktop version of this DAW powerhouse to the smaller more portable world of the iPad. It has been scaled down in a clever way and as such as not lost much in the process, sure some compromises had to be made but that’s to be expected. The best thing though is that you can use it with the growing library of AUv3 plugins that exist out there and more and more of them are being released onto the platform. Some are ports from VSTs but a lot of them are developed for the unique touch-based interface that is the iPad.
I should take a top down photo of my desktop music studio because one of the instruments that make up the whole is this iPad that I’m writing this post on right now. It travels the world with me, such as in the picture below alongside it’s friend the OP-1 Field, which I had fun with on holiday recently. I am glad I took it, I ended up tinkering with it a lot whilst sitting in the shade!
Today’s loop were assembled last week based on different sound packs that come with Logic. Hope you like it and I’ve got more to compile this week, there are some walkthroughs I wish to record too.
