Copperhead Synth and Textquencer
I love the iPad, it really has become my main music exploration tool
One of my favourite tools for exploring music is my iPad Pro, it’s a great performer, has a nippy processor and you can get really interactive with the tools you’re using. The above screenshot doesn’t show the full display for Copperhead synth, I’ll do some more posts on it specifically soon.
So for today’s little jam, I played around with the following plugins in AUM.
4 Pockets, Copperhead Synth
Cem Olcay’s, Textquencer
Other Desert Cities
EOS 2
Textquencer is very clever, it enables you to write music with plain old English or ay other language for that matter. It converts ASCII characters to MIDI notes. Spaces and non alpha characters are treated as rests, new paragraphs slightly longer rests (I think).
So I routed this to Copperhead synth and ran it through the two effects, Other Deserted Cities (a fancy delay effect) and Eos 2 (a awesome reverb).
That’s how I created my little jam for the day.
I run two other newsletters called
and by the way - I am considering merging them all together into this newsletter and renaming it back to Nick Lewis because I write about all sorts of things - I’ll decide at some point!!!!!Thanks to all subscribers for your support and ongoing interest in what I write :-)
