Combining music with video

2
3

I’m always up for trying something new with Modulations and in this case I’ve used the Insta360 app on my iPhone to edit a video I recorded yesterday with the 360 camera, adding music I recorded at some point last year. Adding music with this app is a little weird because you can’t just import some audio files, but you can extract them from video files on your device. I often use screen record to capture performances on the iPad as videos, for this newsletter, so I’ve got a decent supply of such tracks.

If only I could do something about the wind noise and there are thankfully, mini wind “mufflers”, if that’s the correct term for them?? That you can buy and attach to the insta 360. I’ll look out for some.

It was glorious down in Portsmouth yesterday. Half an hour later I’d returned to the car to drop off my coat and it was t-shirt weather! Not bad for March.

Wind noise aside. The lapping of waves on the single of the beach. Oooh, one of my favourite sounds. I could record that any time, it’s a delight.

My wife was there, she went to the shops and I was free to video some stuff. We visited some other locations, I’ll record some music for them and share.

There are some decent apps coming out at the moment and I’ve a shopping list for some that came out a little while back that I’ve not yet obtained.

Watch this space.

Have a great week.
