MidiStep is an Aleatoric step sequencer for the iPad but what is that exactly? It basically means some element of the music composition is left to chance, so whilst you can program in a series of determinate steps, you can throw the dice on some steps so that each time a pattern repeats, it won’t be entirely the same.
