I have been looking at how this newsletter could become more interactive, partly to take away the worry that I’m not writing enough at the moment; I’ve had quite a lot on my plate recently which has taken over a little bit, life happens as they say; I would also be very interested in people’s thoughts on different topics, see if we can get some collaboration going on in terms of writing, audio and video perhaps.
Hello Nick, thanks for your musings. I'm a Hurdy-Gurdy player which is considered by some to be one of the first synthesizers ... My hubby, in the day, was a synclavier expert and still remembers how intuitive the synclavier keyboard was. I'm own a Wavestation, an Atari 1040st, a Roland D10 and D20 and a Roland MSQ-700 (I even have a DAT machine). I haven't used them for years... but I can't part with them.
Now this is interesting as I’d be more than happy to include this as a roundup of our readers instruments of choice, together with some documentary on the Hurdy-Gurdy and sound examples, since we often document sounds made, found and heard.
Let’s make it happen - perhaps recording some audio or video, especially with a bit of narrative - let’s have a DM chat about that, so I can let you know how to get that across to me. Whenever really, no rush.

I remember them, never saw one in real life

Ataris- I never owned one as I had the Amiga but friends of mine did, so I had a go on them
